The eftpos Card Present API is the bedrock for strong, secure, and convenient way to accept payments. Payment Service Providers can use APIs to process card present contactless transactions via unattended terminals and where the Acquirer supports Switch-to-Issuer.

Make card present payments with the following chip enabled Physical Cards or Mobile Wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay etc.):

Who is eligible?

If you’re an Acquirer member or Service Provider to an Acquirer Member of the eftpos scheme, you can access the Card Present API automatically. The API is also available to payment gateways, payment aggregators, payment facilitators and digital wallets with sponsorship from an Acquirer.
